  1. RT @diveintomark: Google Wave is a great tool for collaborating with people. Unfortunately, it turns out I don't actually like people.
  2. @valkenburgh then the response was "every problem you had with my paper is made up, and I can prove it"
  3. @valkenburgh in this case it's surprisingly relevant. One basically said "this accepted story is COMPLETELY WRONG"

  8. @caitb Who knew that tweeting a link to a paper on Maghhribi traders would be a source of common ground? :D

  13. @valkenburgh Specialization is good; there will be things you can't do with Chrome OS and things that it is better at than any other OS
  14. @valkenburgh And honestly, EVERY OS goes for native apps. There has never been one that actually stripped down all the way.
  15. @valkenburgh They're consciously trying to not have that, in fact. Other than extensions (like gears) for the browser itself.
  16. @valkenburgh So it's not clear what will change in the one year timeline they've set for themselves.
  17. @valkenburgh Yeah basically. This isn't even an alpha version, though, they've just released the code and someone parsed it themselves
  18. Chrome OS like lightning from a USB key: we could get used to this http://tinyurl.com/ylkl4ru
  19. I am loving the Escape Artists podcasts and @scottsigler's Bloodcast.
  20. Good Deflation http://bit.ly/6b8Zcm
