  1. @irishstu @katmadison Probably Sony's Reader. Only advantage Kindle has is that you can buy books direct from it w/o PC. That part's cool
  2. Amazon's Kindle is ugly and unattractive. Avoid it.
  3. @PixieVonDust @AdamMaguire @aaronmckenna Was allowed play with one for 5 mins. Based on that, it was ugly and unattractive.
  4. @aaronmckenna You mean supply isn't an issue on the retail side. Not always the same as biz/marketing.
  5. @PixieVonDust @aaronmckenna still waiting for the effers in Amazon to send a review unit. Anyone else? Or is it a case of the 'Eire' market?
  6. @endac Heh! What's it called?
  7. @PatMahon Er, is watching a DVD movie completely out of the question then? And I'll believe the iTunes movie downloads when I see them
  8. @PatMahon Well if one of the attractions of the 27 inch model is as a TV-substitute, then I'd've thought it includes watching DVDs
  9. Hope you all knew that this is "Nanoweek". Apparently. (Says Batt O'Keeffe in a press release.)
  10. O2 kicks off its new business 'blog forum' with a Harvard video of the scariest haircut in business (yes, she's American) http://url.ie/326a
  11. @ciaraobrien Yep, you and 99% of the population. Not sure why this doesn't dawn on creators.
  12. @ciaraobrien Ever try to sub a piece with long, rambling sentences?
  13. 59-word sentences rule. Not.
  14. @OldBloke1 One win is a change in form?
  15. Any sentence over 15 words long is cuttable.
  16. Very tight squeeze on space in next Sunday's CIB. Some contribs make cutting text from their pieces very, very easy.
  17. @davidcochrane Ha ha! Thanks for the 'RT'
  18. @darraghdoyle That's the spirit!
  19. @goodseedpr Either 21.5 inch or 27 inch models. Gorgeous. Same speed, too.
  20. @AdamMaguire scarily, you get used it very quickly
