  1. @mrtonylee There's good pubs around Koregaon Road. Only one decent bookstore w/comics in Pune - Landmark in Camp. Not too far. A couple kms.

  8. Now installing Kaspersky on the netbook as per @krist0ph3r's suggestion.
  9. @hyfather It is! And they're getting more intuitive. BUT 8.04 inexplicably stopped recognising my net connection. Hope this doesn't do that.

  11. This setup's much simpler. Last time I did this (8.04), it made me set up the swap partition etc.
  12. Also re-setting up Ubuntu on the home desktop from the 9.10 CD that @inkv gave me. This is going to make me much happier using my home comp.
  13. Back on the netbook. Setting up all my software etc. Was crushed to realise I forgot abt and hence lost a blog-post I'd worked on for weeks.
