  1. My first #Camellia japonica flowers are open and they are gorgeous. It must be Winter!
  2. #Primula are the flower for Winter whether it's P. malcoides(fairy primula), P obconica(large flowered) or P. auculis(dwarf polys) Plant now
  3. Loving the Camellia sasanqua hedges this year! Looking great & flowering their heads off in a variety of positions. Underused, undervalued.
  4. Mothers Day #Cyclamen. Don't leave inside for too long as they need a chilling to keep growing & flowering. Water in mornings when needed.
  5. First seed #potatoes are in! 4 varieties so far. More to follow in June along with Asparagus & Rhubarb crowns.
  6. Helleborus "Broersons White" is the longest flowering #Helleborus! Crisp white flowers over a long period. Already been flowering a month!
  7. Walking the dog & enjoying Autumnal foliage colour. Canadian & Japanese Maples are stunning medium & small trees.Acer Sango Kaku is lovely!
  8. Cold & wet but ideal for primulas, poppies, primroses, hellebores, camellias and pieris who love it & are setting flowers as we speak!

  19. Keep up the food, water & deadheading on roses to get 1 last flush of flowers before Winter dormancy/pruning.
  20. It's #Helleborus Time! Many different varieties & colours now in & available for planting. Time also to feed existing plantings.
