  1. The best way to reduce bugs is to reduce code.
  2. @zedshaw the j labs are quite a bit of fun, like sudoku but programming.
  3. @nordsieck I think there's a good portion of the population that respect the effect of gladwell books more than their content.
  4. @julien I wonder what it would take to write a COMPP backend to babylon.js
  5. RT @julien51 To the #xmpp crowd who alsi likes #comet, you should check Compp http://bit.ly/LBMGb !
  6. @dysinger @ryankanno means... wtf are you talking about my original command used rm -f not rm -rf.
  7. @ryankanno @dysinger means that rm -rf is overly broad since you're only targeting files. remove -r and prevent possible directory hits
  8. Stackoverflow is great tool for asking specific questions and getting feed back. Code reviews, architectue advice, smells? maybe not so much
  9. @mahalie - There's got to be a larger and broader community of deeply involved javascript developers than just the various library teams.
  10. Where do the great Javascript engineers hang out? How can I get them to critique my code?
  11. A big refactor of Babylon let's me send multiple stanzas from a single action. It's been a gut sucking day of javascript.
  12. @rubyjedi but if you want to reach students who need the help, more infrastructure is required (no parental support, transportation, etc.)
  13. @rubyjedi but goals are difficult to balance. It might be easy to reach students already engaged (their parents are active already)
  14. @rubyjedi Agreed, but I think the situation is more complex than just suggesting we use furlough friday more effectively :)
  15. @rubyjedi - But to make use of furlough fridays you need access to, locations, transportation and insurance, how to tackle those problems?
  16. With 400 lines of framework code, I'll more than halve the 7000 lines of code in this Javascript project. Thanks #babylon :)
  17. @ShilohSwanson Cute shiloh, usually I call it a thermometer :)
  18. @leastfixedpoint - not sure that you're dealing with the state of the art there :)
  19. If you want to build xml elements in javascript that preserve their casing, you'll want to read up on http://bit.ly/3lfUEP "createDocument"
  20. @MarinaMartin, did you ever succeed with your eggs?
