  1. @alfie275 Our writer, @DanEshleman, recently became a father and is getting back up to speed working on low-level story & level descriptions
  2. @XenoPhage The tentative release date for the announcement of the release dates is mid-late December ;-)
  3. @XenoPhage We are setting some dates and plan to announce them in the very near future.
  4. Finishing up a major refactoring of the terrain objects code to make richer levels and working on more legal stuff.
  5. @XenoPhage Ate some turkey and ordered a major computer upgrade! (I've been wanting to do that for a while)
  6. Added flexibility to terrain: performance decrease. Refactored using a clever combination of language constructs: performance back to normal
  7. @wolfirejohn thanks for the chat. On a related note (@Wolfire), Mike came up with an Achron level idea today named "follow the white rabbit"
  8. @00Davo Yep! When we release our mod tools, you'll be able to build your own game with time travel. You can add new units in Achron mods too
  9. New blog post on dev/mod tools we're planning to release with Achron: http://achrongame.com/#devtools
  10. Working on Achron is far more fun than working on legal documents etc. for Hazardous Software. But, the latter will make more of the former.
  11. The Grekim musical themes are coming together nicely (listening to the latest version now).
  12. @poetic_b Thanks! We're planning to open our mod and dev tools as well, so other people can make games with our engine too.
  13. @alfie275 There are options to break formation to send units as fast as possible (with priority), and we're evaluating orientation changes.
  14. @poetic_b We'll be looking to expand the team in the near future, mostly for visual arts. We're in the process of making many decisions...
  15. Starting work to refactor the design of the level/terrain/editor code to make it easier for us to make "richer" levels.
  16. @RockLicorn Yes, you can change a unit's place in a hierarchy formation simply by moving it.
  17. New video and blog post on hierarchy: http://achrongame.com/#hierarchydemo
  18. @edrperez We're planning to release not just a level editor, but also mod tools so you can make quite a range of games with time travel.
  19. Starting to think about the design for the new level editor...
  20. It always feels good to put in a new algorithm that shaves off a couple kB/sec of bandwidth for network play.
