  1. @wifelette, @tylerweir, @grantmichaels: Thanks for the encouragement. :)
  2. @grantmichaels Thanks. I fully expect a few plateau effects later down the line. But as long as I stick with it for the long run, I win.
  3. Lost 3.6 lbs this week. 4-week total: -10.4 lbs.
  4. @TPEntrepreneur Interesting. Unfortunately it overlaps with CASCON 2009.

  7. @lbolognini I didn't know they had a higher-end offer. It looks pricey, but it's a valid alternative.
  8. For Python/Django VPS hosting, I would just go with: @slicehost, @webbynode, or @linode.
  9. @joe_kl That looks like the usual crappy, hosting review site. Rule of thumb: run whenever you see "Unlimited" disk space and bandwidth.
  10. @lbolognini WebFaction only offers shared hosting. There is a major opportunity for the right company.
  11. The real problem with Canadian VCs is that they pay you in Canadian Tire money.
  12. @grantmichaels I'm on Slicehost which is similar. What I'm pointing out is the lack of advanced, dedicated, managed solutions for Python.
  13. @jstratmann you are my 1000th follower. :)
  14. I find Python's hosting ecosystem to be poorer than that of Ruby. Where are Python's @EngineYard, @Heroku, and @railsmachine?
  15. Reading about IronRuby 0.6, looks awesome! http://bit.ly/L9uyG (via @lrz)

  20. @Archimage Hehe. The article clarifies what I meant. ;-)
