  1. Not sure whether i'd like to shoot all useless admin staff or just kiss all the good ones. Maybe both.
  2. @athanaelucev Join the club. The ability to make a good gin and tonic is about all the aspiration I have in life at the moment.
  3. @nezzle Realistically anything you use should be fine. The EM6910 has a decent pump so even a straight water back backflush will help.
  4. @nezzle The internet is your oyster. Order a big jar of cafetto powder from CoffeeParts.com, use citric acid from Coles to descale.
  5. @nezzle What kind of coffee machine are you cleaning ? I'd use cafetto or some other kind of cleaner, and citric acid solution for descaling
  6. @Bel Oh, lunch? Maybe Balthazar, Cantina, Must Wine Bar
  7. @Bel Just tell them you're bringing it when you book.
  8. @Bel Pretty certain any restaurant in Perth would open a bottle of Grange for you. I'd book any fancy place, Star Anise, Jacksons, Amuse
  9. @Bel How fancy and how central ?
  10. Negroni time. This time with extra campari because I can never be bitter enough.
  11. @lu_lu Yep, open now. Just called and confirmed. Soft launch on Tuesday, they're flipping as we speak, er, type.
  12. @ocean Yesterday I think. Jus when I wanted a burger too. #iseewhatyoudidthereandraiseyouwhatididhere
  13. @lu_lu Which reminds me to go to Subi and try the new store...
  14. @freocookster The burgers are better mostly everywhere else. Flipside, Jus, Alfreds, Bistro Comparing Maccas to HJs is redundant to taste.
  15. @beyondbeeton Offically unofficial. If that cafe is touting Slow Food as a reason their coffee is good, I might need to pay them a visit.
  16. @ocean @beyondbeeton There is the presidia which protects certain foods. Or maybe Ponchione support them in Italty, but definitely not here.
  17. @beyondbeeton @ocean I can't speak for internationally, but as far as i know there is no "official" anything of Slow Food. Not here anyway.
  18. @grum Nice idea, but then you'd need to hand out how to make flat white, cappuccino, and espresso cards too, and you'd run out of pockets
  19. No rest... clearly I've been quite wicked lately. I could eat the world right now.
  20. Stopped by a TAFE cooking class this afternoon. Our chefs of the future are delinquents and deviants looking for somewhere to call home.
