  1. Heading into a two hour trampoline-based birthday party with a dozen young kids, or, as it's also known, "the belly of the beast."
  2. @vafarmboy Pilot Varsity, my man. For life.
  3. Heading to SF w/N. for the exhibit at the Pacific Coast Origami Conference. Apparently, N. isn't the only devoted paper folder around here.
  4. I got to it late, sue me, but Jon Stewart's lengthy Glenn Beck parody is unspeakably great: http://mediamatters.org/mmt...
  5. Why, yes, I do believe I will wash down beer & pizza with a Beard Papa cream puff. No shame in that, unless @vafarmboy reads this.
  6. @dchud http://bit.ly/4CKaBe it's a wall of monitors, with 50,000 app icons in a color gradient; each throbs when downloaded. Shiny & silly!
  7. Oh my god there are a lot of paranoid lunatic half-wit right-wing freak imbeciles using the #indoctrination tag. And not about iPods?
  8. For his seventh birthday, took the kid over to 1 Infinite Loop see the App Wall, and buy the iPod he'd been saving up for. #indoctrination
  9. I see some white marbles over there, under the couch, and over there, under the table. But here, the hungry hippos remain hungry, so hungry.
  10. The gentleman at Pho Nam knows my takeout order. Always uncomfortable when I become a regular somewhere; is that odd?
  11. @pemulis "Focal XS"
  12. These new speakers made me buy the remastered version of Drive Like Jehu's "Yank Crime". Clearly, this leads next to MFSL 24kt gold CDs.
  13. On the bright side, finally replaced terrible ten-year-old Dell-bundled office speakers. Why wasn't I told about the existence of 'treble'?
  14. 6GB of swap used; Terminal is using even more RAM than IntelliJ IDEA. From here, nothing's going to go well.
  15. @vafarmboy Atom. It's a standard. There's an RFC. Hurray for Atom.
  16. @jamesfelixblack does that imply you're in for the Russian Circles/Helms Alee show? It's a slippery slope, rocker.
  17. @dchud yeah, other than http://support.apple.com/kb... I don't see any explicit reference to PAN support, after some googling. hmm
  18. @dchud I'd never looked into Bluetooth PAN on iPhone/iPod; looks like it got added in OS 3.0, though? With wifi everywhere, I never cared...
  19. @dchud Disappointingly, I could do that with my 2005-era Windows Mobile phone, albeit only after illegitimate OS updates from Euro hackers.
  20. 150-line SQL query, with 11 WITH clauses: I have defeated you! Admittedly, I also originally sired you. Sorry about both of those things.
