  1. Excellent writing in a magazine: Caitlin Flanagan on marriage in this week's Time.
  2. More about Ayelet Waldman's book: http://tinyurl.com/npxf6y. But I am still afraid that it might be too much like work.
  3. Abandoned What the Dead Know and started The Dissident by Nell Freudenberger.
  4. Only sort of liking What the Dead Know by Laura Lippman. MIght not be worth finishing.
  5. Listened to Alan Cheuse review Do Not Deny Me by Jean Thompson. Why have I not heard of her? http://tinyurl.com/ngx8ud
  6. This week Marilyn Stasio recommends Death Wore White by Jim Kelly and The Case of the Missing Servant by Tarquin Hall.
  7. A coworker lent me a Tami Hoag book. I couldn't read beyond the first paragraph. How do I politely get out of this situation?
  8. Added to my library hold list: The Last Secret by Mary McGarry Morris.
  9. Can't decide if I want to read the new Ayelet Waldman book or not. Didn't like her other books but this one could be interesting.
  10. Added to my library hold list: I See You Everywhere by Julia Glass.
  11. I'm not going to finish A Woman in Amber by Agate Neseule, at least not right now.
