  9. @shanselman try drivesnapshot (trialware) or Drive Image (free for personal use), but you need extra storage for backup/restore to a file
  10. @shanselman defrag the old drive, shrink the partition to a size smaller than the new drive, backup and restore

  14. @develdb: running 1000 INSERTs takes 13 secs on an empty. Am I doing something wrong? (besides: SELECT COUNT(*) FROM TABLE fails with error)
