  1. @kindaran Thank you! Happy five-weeks-ago thanksgiving to you.
  2. Thanksgiving feast: great success!
  3. @maceo87 If everyone on screen could just bubble up simultaneously, you'd have no challenge, ever. Consequences make gameplay worthwhile.
  4. @maceo87 From a gameplay perspective, it's a risk to balance the absurd rewards of cheating death and moving freely through danger.
  5. @maceo87 Practically: no one to pop you out of the bubble, so within the rules of that world, you're screwed
  6. @maceo87 you bubble up to either save yourself from impending death or to cross unsafe terrain toward a safe player.
  7. @thekarladam For better or worse, Apple needs to defend that experience and there's nothing they can do to change the AT&T thing right now
  8. @thekarladam Had same reaction, was annoyed, but in the final equation, for right now, this Christmas, AT&T is part of the iPhone experience
  9. @thekarladam Meh, I wouldn't read too much into it. This is the same company that often publicly said Intel processors were crap.
  10. @seandammit Can't speak for others but I eventually found peace. Stings like a bastard at first, though.
  11. @seandammit The reason those low ratings happen is because iTunes won't stop you from buying something you can't use. People don't read.
  12. Jimmy Fallon (as Neil Young) covers the Fresh Prince theme. WOW: http://bit.ly/4UINku (via @seandammit) Respect: earned.
  13. MobileMe Sync and the iPhone create a user experience that's damn near science fiction. The instant data is something out of 24.
  14. Oregon DMV is clean, well-lit and seemingly efficient. We'll see if it holds.
  15. Every tedious spreadsheet record keeping task can be made infinitely easier by judicious application of MVC via index(match()).
  16. The upshot of softening sales for one of my apps is dramatically easier bookkeeping. I'm basically okay with that.
  17. I'm thinking if I post it to my wall, where I can't obscure it with clutter, it might actually work this time.
  18. Building a new task management system on a large pad of paper. Going to pencil in "ignore new task management system" for next week.
  19. @flargh I would be surprised if tweens accounted even for half. My money is on women 18 - 40 bringing most of that cash.
  20. @davidahouse If only it could read my mind all the time and connect the occasional forgotten outlet. One day.
