Mozilla doesn't have an audio proposal at the W3C, probably because our
Web API people are too busy standardizing a freakin' Web Phone!

Google's Web Audio API could be implemented in JS (see pdf.js) on top of Mozilla's Audio Data API. Don't know about
the other way around.

It is not a standard, not even a de-facto one.
