  1. New i7 quad core iMac that we got at work, seen here running Radial Blur in Photoshop on 10,000 x10,000 pixels of noise at high quality.
  2. I learned something today: squirrels make sounds. I did not know that. http://yfrog.us/6rgd3z
  3. @phfish I do, and I would!
  4. LOL at busy end-of-semester: it took me a week to get through the last MacBreak Weekly podcast. I just downloaded this week's.
  5. @toorandom I'm in a formal logic class at the moment, and we're about to cover Gödel's proof. I'll get back to you when we're done.
  6. You should probably watch this - it's a comparison of the size of stars. It's freaking amazing. http://bit.ly/dkYig
  7. @JosephHurtado but can you demonstrate that "the spirit" is anything but psychological artifact? Can you convince others?
  8. @karamat ummm, what about firefox itself? It's not "experimental" like *some* browsers I could mention.
  9. @hoswe let me clarify. Tweetie 2 for iPhone does RT, and Tweetie 2 for Mac will, I hear. No idea when it will be out. @atebits?
  10. @hoswe yes. Yes it does. And they're *pretty*
  11. I just blew my own mind when it occurred to me that e^(2i*pi) = 1. Ow.
  12. Oh, now I'm seeing #red.
  13. Am I doing something wrong? I don't see any #red on twitter.
  14. RT @jnack: Funky idea for a more ergonomic DSLR: http://bit.ly/55eRsH
  15. @jsnell the brown-teethers. Remember the Sneetches?
  16. @Rockyroadkill42 if you lose the chops, it should be in pursuit of yet more esotericity.
  17. @EthanWelner it's true, there's no great replacement. Svg is promising. Motion png *was* promising. JavaScript is fine on HTML pages. Blech.
  18. @JosephHurtado I agree, bit late, I'm going to bed. Science does not *deny* god. It just has no supporting evidence *for* god. Do you?
  19. @JosephHurtado and most atheists don't deny the possibility of god. We just think it highly improbable and have seen no convincing evidence.
  20. @JosephHurtado shouldn't be ridiculed? If it can't stand up to ridicule, maybe it isn't a very good argument.
