  2. @Niteowl009 We sleep in sleeping bags that attach to the wall. I found that this was very comfortable--it felt like floating underwater.
  3. @tesneddon You see your family as soon as you return to crew quarters about an hour after landing. It is the highlight of the day!
  4. @salliboo Its more like if you close your eyes and spin fast; or if you have been on a boat in wavy conditions.
  5. @Niteowl009 For most it takes 2-10 days for sense of balance to normalize after flight. Nodding head quickly can provoke tumbling feeling.
  6. Transitioning from zero g to 1 g is also dynamic. Biggest effect is on sense of balance. I feel almost baseline after 24 hours.
  7. Did our blood draws today on orbit. In zero g it’s a bit trickier to take a blood sample. Surface tension dominates the fluid dynamics.
  8. Did a video with Dr. Bob Thirsk on ISS looking at medical operations there. Will post in the next week.
  9. A crewmember performed an ultrasound on me; will send video of this soon.
  10. House call to ISS has been great. They have advanced medical diagnostic instruments.
  11. Flight day 2.Transition to zeroG went smoothly. No motion sickness symptoms. Exercised today & slept well. House call to ISS tmrw! #onorbit

  14. Will be describing preparations and training for mission medical care in daily upcoming tweets as @ZeroG_MD prepares for housecall to ISS
  15. Did tilt test to check baseline neurovestibular function. Will be interesting to see how this changes on first day back from flight.
  16. In final week of training. Medical ops include sleep shifting and emergency medical training.
