The Yukon River ice broke yesterday. First a little jam in front of Eagle and then all the ice moved around 4:30 pm. No flooding, whew! ps

Hard to believe but it is +21. The Yukon is frozen with a really bumpy trail but, runnable with snowmachine and dogsled. Fun day to run. ps

The Yukon River froze and stopped on Friday and today, brave folks were out chopping a trail across to use dog sleds. Even a snowmachine! ps

Very strange but, the ice in the Yukon has thinned in volume. Water has dropped. Snowing now and +14. It could be a strange freeze up. ps
