  1. New Video! JAPANESE TOPICS MANIA 3x09: "Useful Japanese Words You Will Never Use" -- Filmed in Tokyo with George & Emily (Applemilk1988)!
  2. I had to "reinstall" my computer in Japanese it's "sai insuto-ru". Other "re" words are saihousou (rebroadcast), saiseishi (recycled paper).

  4. I said goodbye the 5 guys I was interpreting for this last 2 months this morning. We have become good friends. I will visit them in Japan.
  5. Vocabulary is important as an interpreter: 品質 HINSHITSU (quality), 左右 SAYUU (left & right), 平坦 HEITAN (flat), 対象 TAISHOU (symmetric)
  6. I learn a lot when interpreting. I constantly add new words to my brain. If you get the chance to interpret for a friend even, take it!
  7. This week was tough. My brain locked up on Wednesday after 90 minutes of interpreting. I had to stop the teacher for a break.
  8. This week the training is on the Multi Leaf Collimator. The teacher is easy to interpret for but the sessions are long. TSUKARERU!
  9. @darkfox8963 Medical equipment requires a lot of certification and is very costly. So they will keep using XP for a few more years.
  10. Right now all the guys are installing Windows XP. I am barely interpreting since it's a "install on your own" module. Reboot = SAIKIDOU.
  11. Today the clients are learning about Virtual Machines. Virtual in Japanese is "KASOU". Lots of down time today so more twitter time.
  12. Yesterday I learned how to say 10 to the minus 2. It's "10 no mainasu 2 jou". Can you figure out other similar numbers?

  14. I took a small nap during a break. I forgot my iPod headphones so I had a hard time NOT interpreting all the chatter (so I went to speaker)
  15. I am tired today. Didn't get much sleep yesterday. My accuracy is going to be down. I already am stumbling a bit this morning. NEMUI YO!

  17. Today should be a much easier interpreting day. We are in the lab for 3 of the 4 periods. This means no power points.
  18. I think I said ほうこうせいけつごうき (Directional coupler) like 20 times in the last hour. Try saying it 10 times in a row. It's actually not so bad.
  19. I am excited to release new videos on YesJapan. I have been editing a new batch of videos all shot in Japan. Fun stuff.
  20. Today we went over by an hour . It's bad mentally when you think you are almost done and you work for another hour but I am okay today!
