  1. Having a day off thanks to flex time right after #Readercon is a wonderful thing.
  2. @wedaman Isn't Educause already publishing? What would be of interest regionally that wouldn't apply across the board?
  3. Other #Readercon Sunday highlights included the 2 magazine panels, @shadesong's reading, and good people. Too tired for coherence now, alas.
  4. Back from #readercon, and it was wonderful. Sunday highlights include discovering that 1/4 of Erin Hunter lives in H20Town.
  5. @ericrosenfield It doesn't help that #Readercon has a policy that says if you're under 15, you can't wander the con on your own.
  6. But finally hitting the legendary Korean BBQ joint (as well as hearing a Liz Hand reading and attending some other panels) was also nice.
  7. Back from day two of #readercon. Clute's paper on the Count of Monte Cristo as a prototype superhero was worth it by itself.
  8. #Readercon was great today, as much for the people as the programming. More tomorrow (but not in the creepy @ememess short story sense).
  9. Press release fail: http://bit.ly/KKrtc
  10. @ColleenLindsay I loved Relic, but I felt the Pedergrast books after that just got lame (ditto the Relic movie).
  11. Shutting down the computer soon to head to #Readercon. Won't be online there, but hope to see some of you in person at the con!
  12. @strikedynamo Thanks!
  13. Also, for those who haven't seen it elsewhere, my first bylined piece for Publishers Weekly: http://tr.im/rJ8V
  14. Friday morning prep: Help the kidlet pack for her trip to NYC, then get ready for Readercon.
  15. @windowseat I never watched it (although I loved the books). I did watch the movies in the late '80s.
  16. @scottneumyer Thanks, man! Glad you liked it (and hope you like the book).
  17. Did you ever dance with the devil in the bright sunight? #1stdraftmovielines
  18. The many, many lies of Sarah Palin: http://tr.im/rAMQ
  19. .@korbigirl says that the first two episodes of Glee are even better than the pilot, and offers to answer Glee questions: http://tr.im/rzLW
