  1. The severe t'storm watch has been cancelled for WNY. The threat for severe t'storms has decreased. A few needed showers continue attm.
  2. The line of storms is moving into central and eastern NY. 2 tornado warnings as of this writing in the ADKS and New England.
  3. At one point this afternoon we had a radar estimate of hail over 2" in size in Seneca County. Still waiting to see if any picks come in?
  4. No confirmation of a tornado at this time south of Canandaigua, but numerous reports of damage at Post Road and 96A.

  6. At this point severe t'storm warnings are in effect SE of Rochester, including southern Monroe County. Take cover for the next hour.
  7. Showers with some lightning now in Nunda, another shower near East Bloomfield. Additional storms will fire this afternoon through WNY.
  8. A strong t'storm will be moving into western Wyoming County in the next 10 minutes. Hail and winds over 50 mph possible.

  11. 92 was the official high today in Rochester. We missed the record high by 1 degree. Showers and thunderstorms for Tuesday!
  12. 91 degrees at 4pm in ROC. Just 2 degrees short of the record high for today. Also the first day of 90 degree heat this year.
  13. 87 degrees with a dew point of 70 at 2pm in ROC. Six more degrees and we could tie the record. No showers in WNY attm.
  14. 84 degrees at 1pm today. The record high for Rochester is 93 today. That was set back in 1911. Muggy, the dew point in near 70.
  15. Showers ans some brief thunder for the next hour or two then clearing by evening. Heavy downpours possible.
  16. Another hot one today. Upper 80s with a bit more humidity. Thankful that the southerly breeze will continue. Afternoon t'storms possible.
