  1. RT: @InfoPhil: Bloor: Everybody with an enterprise data warehouse should license Kalido: http://tinyurl.com/yj678on. Yes, we feel the same!
  2. Just finished up PharmaForce, conference dedicated to pharma sales and marketing. Big changes in pharma. Need agile DW/BI solutions
  3. RT @SarahBurnett BI in a Box (Kalido Kona) http://bit.ly/2PB0yy. Kalido-Netezza-QlikView. Wish we can see it through the link.
  4. @jilldyche Thanks for following and I look for the same from you!
  5. @NeilRaden Agree median better figure than avg for DW size. It's fun to talk about Ferraris but you make money with the Camry.
  6. #BBBT. What's the avg size of a TD appliance? Avg size of TD EDW?
  7. @shawnrog Price/TB relevant? Like clock speed of CPUs. Vast majority of DW under 10TB. Query performance more important. And flexibility.
  8. Kalido KONA vs. analytical apps diff #2-inclusion of data integration & MDM, not just a rigid model and expect cust do the hardwork of DI
  9. Kalido KONA vs. analytical apps diff #1-layers of abstraction for model, sourcing and BI. Model driven makes it easy to customize.
  10. Good conversations yesterday at NZ London show about Kalido KONA versus the analytic apps from a decade ago. What's different this time?
  11. @lorita thanks for introducing me to it. And my new iPhone
  12. Convergence of many data management disciplines will be a good thing! We spend too much time debating definitions
  13. Remember chatting with @Claudia_Imhoff about a coming convergence of many siloed data management disciplines.
  14. Good chat with another analyst and talked about whether BI platform includes data integration. whether mdm is primarily for data integration
  15. @jameskobielus MDM-DW who's the boss? Either MDM with reporting and analytics, or DW with master data? The point is they belong together.
  16. I love Maine. Beauty without pretenses or vanity. I felt the same way about Oregon.
  17. Heading to Maine. Long week to get KONA out. Looking forward to a break.
  18. Kalido KONA includes integrated MDM. Hoping everyone picked that up. MDM belongs in every DW. Can't get a DW built fast without it.
  19. Kalido KONA announced today. An important step in the evolution of data warehousing.
  20. Great session #BBBT. Excellent feedback. Hope to see model-driven approach to data management get more press and stronger advocacy.
