  1. In the lighter category,when you're tired of Riesling, also lower alcohol, really like Montecillo Rioja white blend.
  2. Riesling is a great wine because the acidity can hold up to many food flavors which pretty much defines holiday eating.
  3. The Dr. Loosen "L" series is a family staple - by the case - but this year it was not available.
  4. This based on experience and painfully watching family members reject great NZ Sau Blanc, good Cal Chard and even Argentine Malbec...
  5. Only one: Riesling. Sparkling wine, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay....forgetaboutit....if you want to please a tough crowd, Riesling is it.
  6. What holiday wine satisfies all family members, even those who only drink wine occasionally?
  7. Yeah Yankees!!!!
  8. But the bigger question is, what is the blueprint to prevent another recession of this severity?
  9. So Bloomberg is and Corzine is out....it's a long runway to 2012.....economic distress should lessen and soften voter resentment...
  10. Being a New Jersey native, watching the Corzine race closely...can money still buy elections in the age of twittering and email?
  11. Or in the case of this year, maybe damaged would be a better choice...many permanently...how do you recoup losses after a certain age?
