  1. 4-part series on developing for the cloud with Microsoft Azure: http://bit.ly/2uZ1D6
  2. Gearing up for The Ajax Experience http://bit.ly/Qr7gI
  3. Attending the Patterns and Practices Summit in October -- woot! http://pnpsummit.com/west20...
  4. @digiphile Agreed. I don't have anything more to add, so in the spirit of things let me say... FIRST!
  5. @digiphile Comments can be great when -- well, when they're great. @TheEconomist blogs have a fantastic, intelligent community.
  6. Looks like the #teched09 stream is dead. It switched me to Barcelona randomly, and now I can't get it back.
  7. Looking for a Boston-area #VSTS expert for a webcast -- any takers?
  8. @digiphile @lancegodard But effective communication on social media requires several new skills. Acquiring them raises the barrier to entry
  9. @digiphile It's a legit Q. There's a very high barrier to entry on social media; a LOT of stuff, low signal-to-noise ratio, all v disparate.
  10. @Pete_Brown The URL in my tweet re jQuery got cut off, in twhirl at least. Link: http://bit.ly/OwM10
  11. @Pete_Brown jQuery also lets you do basic animations -- it abstracts away the specific DOM calls. eg $("#id").slideUp() http://bit.ly/OwM10
  12. @Pete_Brown That's a pet peeve of mine! I maintain that "could care less" is fine; it's ironic, a la "yeah, right."
  13. @ColinSteele Practice? We're talking about practice! Not a game, not a game, not a game! We're talking about practice!
  14. #Win7 will include a free XP VM. Great way to handle compatibility - same as OS X+classic. Blogged by @codinghorror: http://bit.ly/4C0or
  15. @pbarone @spillspace I second that. Wasn't blown away by Vista, and I like Linux a lot. But Win7 is great. I'd love virtual desktops though.
  16. @jrodmell I love it! But I'd have also underlined "science" in the first sentence.
  17. @digiphile What about the intranets most companies have, or the private backup power generators many businesses keep?
  18. @cingles The Windows 7 hack requires you to be physically present at bootup. Doesn't that bring its danger down close to zero?
  19. @ColinSteele @SteveCimino Have him LiveTweet the next Boss concert he goes to.
  20. @JoMaitlandTT You may want to check out @cingles as you dive into your new #cloud beat; he tweets a lot on the topic.
