  6. @erikpaterson Ha! It's a great medium to work with - I have to get the class to help me. I'll post a pic when done.
  7. JWG1 has volunteered me to make a 2-ft high chicken wire and papier mache robin as her class's Xmas hamper. Dead easy, then...

  9. @erikpaterson His name's Roger. :-D
  10. Did ask the farmer if he had some rubbishy old beddingy hay for the muddy hen run, but he does only beautiful, organic and prizewinning.
  11. Bought a beautiful bale of NFU prizewinning organic hay from local farmer today. What a shame the hens will just paddle around and poo in it

  16. @virtualranger No! Obviously not a big fat frog stuck in the drain. Book of Revelations here - 4 horsemen on lawn....
  17. Slubbed out loads of leaves, trimmed more marginal plants. Very few creatures in the pond at the moment. Getting it shipshape for spring!
  18. More pond work today. The water turned milky where the spring water had poured rapidly through the chalk Downs and into the pond
  19. @virtualranger Does one 'appear' on a radio / wireless?
  20. @virtualranger Ha! Bet you never thought you'd be appearing on the radio with Richard Briers!
