  1. did a solid hour of power this morning (1x60@90%). Legs were tired from yesterday but I think that made the workout more productive.
  2. ...oh yeah, and I never tweet DURING workouts. Is that even possible?
  3. had great ride, got fitted for team frame, and broke the washing machine. Now destroying some Chinese Food and a Strongbow. Life is good.
  4. 75 miles and 3000 calories in about 4:00 over some great rural roads with new teammate. Good times. Fast miles.
  5. has a short day today and will be able to get outdoors (gasp!) for an afternoon ride.
  6. @sidragon So do something about it! Seriously, step up and get involved if you want to see WWVC grow. Otherwise, get ready to move on...
  7. dreaded the evening workout all day, then killed it! Short and sweet: 2x20@97%-->100%. High RPE but felt great. Now: 2xStrongbow@100%.
  8. will have to make do with a very unique "evening workout" tomorrow. Taking family to the airport in the morning and everything changes.
  9. @sidragon Remember: Inconsistent training leads to inconsistent fitness. Don't wait for motivation, that's not how it's done.
  10. @joey_numbas Seriously? Already tired of indoor work? Gonna be a long winter...
  11. had an uninispired workout this morning: 2x30@90% (exactly). Thought it would be a great one, but it just felt flat.
  12. really dislikes rest days more and more. I just feel "off" when I don't workout. I'm looking forward to tomorrow morning.
  13. visited the training room and found out that my sore foot is nothing more than a falling arch. Correctable, except the "getting old" part.
  14. gave in to the dread of a cold, wet ride and went for a cold, muddy trail run instead. It's more fun and the puppy gets to work out too.
  15. enjoyed Friday ritual supper: meats and frites. Now as baby hits the rack, it's time for Friday night Strongbow: best one of the week.
  16. finished the four-day block with 1x40@90%, then 1x20@93%. I'm tired now from a solid week of work and look forward to my evening Strongbow.
  17. "sweet spot" morning workout: 2x30@90%, followed by core training. Minor bonk at very end; will need food all day...
  18. finally made a great crock pot meal: short ribs on the bone with carrots, onions, celery and a heap of taters braising all day in red wine.
  19. absolutely rocked morning's workout: 2x20's (short and sweet due to time crunch). Hit new LT max on #2. Closing in on 300!
  20. started four-day block with 1x45@93% followed by 1x30@95% (after 3:00 rest). Power came smoothly and consistently. Good workout.
