  6. Happy Thanksgiving! Warrior Fitness will be closed from Thurs, Nov 26 through Sunday, Nov 29. Classes will resume on Monday, Nov 30.
  7. Avoid Turkey Day weight gain by eating moderately, pacing yourself at the buffets, and walking to curb your appetite & get some exercise.
  8. Serve dinner restaurant style (food on plates) rather than family style (food served in bowls/platters on table). Avoids 2nd rds of eating.
  9. Downsize your dinner plates. Studies find that the less food put in front of you, the less food you'll eat.
  10. Clean your closet of the "fat" clothes once you have reached your target weight. This may be a srong incentive to maintain your new figure.

  12. Do not eat in a hurry. Eat slower & chew your food well. This will help the digestion process & give you a better taste & enjoyment for food

  14. Move more. Make it a daily challenge to find ways to move your body. Climb stairs, walk your dog, chase your kids, vacuum, mow the lawn.

  17. Mindless eating occurs mostly after dinner, when you finally sit & relax. Stay away from the kitchen or allow yourself a low-calorie snack
  18. Stressed? Don't turn to food for comfort. Read, listen to music, write in a journal, practice meditative breathing, or GO TO BOOTCAMP!
