  1. Still could have some strong storms as the 2nd line moves through with gusty winds, heavy downpours & freq. lightning...
  2. The 1st line of strms will likely stabilize the atm. somewhat as the 2nd, but weaker line approaches...
  3. Line of strong strms continues to move through North & Central MS, producing gusty winds, freq. lightning, heavy downpours & some small hail
  4. We look to dry out pretty nicely this coming weekend with sunny skies and temperatures ranging from the lower to middle 80s...
  5. Rain chances continue through the work week w/ high temps in the upper 70s to lower 80s and overnight lows in the upper 60s...
  6. As of the 11pm Adv. Hurricane Bill is now a category 2 Hurricane w/ Max winds of 100 mph & his track continues to be off to the NW...
  7. Bill is the big game in town & continues to strengthen, on recent satellite imagery it looks like an eye is forming or already has formed...
  8. Ana continued to weaken throughout the day and is mainly just a tropical wave & is not expected to restrengthen much over the next few days
  9. Tropical moisture continues to move into the area from what used to be TD-Claudette, we will see M.Cldy skies tonight w/ temps in lower 70s
  10. The remnants of Claudette are anticipated to move through SW AL today and be around NE MS sometime tonight...
  11. The last Adv. for Claudette has been issued by the NHC, she will continue to weaken as she moves inland & is 80 miles WSW of Mont, AL @ 10am
  12. Tropical Storm Claudette as of the 10 pm Adv. still has Max winds of 50 mph & is moving NW @ 12 mph & is just hrs away from making landfall
  13. Tropical Dep. Ana still has Max winds of 35 mph, and will struggle to maintain its strength as it moves through some mountaneous terrian...
  14. As of the 11pm Adv. Trop. Storm Bill is almost a hurricane w/ Max winds of 70 mph, is forecasted to become a hurricane Monday...
  15. As of the 5:00 pm Adv., Claudette is about 25 miles off the FL phandle and will make landfall this evening...
  16. Tropical Storm Claudette now has reported winds up to 50 mph, but has a very tight cir., not going to be a widespread wind event...
  17. Tropical Depression #4 has now been named Tropical Storm Claudette with maximum sustained winds of 40 mph...
  18. Also still watching Ana & Bill in the Atl., as of the the 11am Adv., Ana has Max winds of 40mph & Bill has Max windsof 60mph...
  19. It looks to make landfall tonight in the FL phandle & then take a NW track through portions of AL & MS giving us decent rain for Mon & Tues
