  1. Could see some more patchy fog overnightbut not as much as last night.
  2. Dense Fog is likely for much of the area by morning. Most fog should burn off by the early morning.
  3. Scattered thunderstorms may move onshore through Midnight tonight, especially in Pender, Onslow and New Hanover Counties.
  4. Much of Columbus county has seen half inch to one inch rain totals over the last two hours. We'll have the First Alert Forecast at noon.
  5. Cloud cover has been increasing through the day. Rain is on the way. Expect showers much of Wednesday. Details at 5 and 6 on WECT.
  6. Duplin County Schools are delayed 2 hours for students on Friday. Staff will report at the regular time.
  7. The Wind Advisory for the area has been canceled. However, winds of 15-25 mph with gusts to 35 from the north can be expected through Thurs.
  8. Duplin County Schools are now on a Two Hour Delay for Thursday.
  9. Add Bladen County to the list of 2 Hour delayed schools (for students, staff reports at normal times)
  10. Hwy 210 in Pender County remains closed due to Flooding. A Flood Warning remains in effect for Pender County through 8:30 PM
  11. Pender County and Columbus County schools are on a 2 hour delay due to the flooding.
  12. Pender County remains under a Flood Warning until 8:30 PM
  13. Hwy 210 between Hwy 50 and Hwy 17 is closed in Pender County due to flooding. Also, Country Club Rd in Hampstead is closed.
  14. A flood warning is now in effect for New Hanover county. Heavy rain will continue into the afternoon. Be careful if you are driving.
  15. Floood warnings are now in effect for parts of all area counties except New Hanover. Waves of moderate to heavy rain are now moving through
  16. A flood warning has been issued for eastern Robeson county and much of Bladen county including Elizabethtown until 12:45 PM.
  17. A flood warning is now in effect for southwest Brunswick and Coulmbus counties until 12:15 PM. Up to 2 inches of rain could fall quickly.
  18. The heaviest rain is expected Wednesday between 10 AM and 5 PM. There may be a brief break in the rain, following by breezy conditions.
  19. Though the rain has decreased tonight, expect heavy rains Wednesday afternoon. So far Bladen County has seen about an inch of rain.
  20. A Flood Watch has been issued for the entire WECT Viewing area through Friday at 1AM. Heavy rain is expected Wedneday and Thursday.
