  1. 145 countries worked, 98 confirmed. I need to get to the Post Office :)
  2. 17m in good shape again. Worked St. Helena yesterday and Latvia this morning. #hamradio
  3. After modelling, it looks like a rotatable dipole fed with ladder line is the best multiband option. Time to check available materials
  4. @Hamcity Somewhere in the South Pacific or East Indian Ocean like Central Kiribati or Cocos-Keeling.
  5. 17m hopping this morning.. QSO with GD4WBY in the Isle of Man for a new one. New 17m antenna under design, possibly a skeleton slot.
  6. Great weekend on 20m. Two new countries and a lot of DX contacts in Russia, Ukraine, Japan and Australia. Not bad for a pop gun station!
  7. UK airports closed. My parents travel plans to visit me are in some jeopardy. Here's hoping it clears soon
  8. @innismir I'm interested in joining Ham Twits!
  9. Wish I had sent some better photos in for the K7AGE 40m video :-)
  10. Worked 12 new ones during the CQ WW WPX Party from my hombrew ladder line dipole. Could be 13, but I don't know if he got my call.

  12. @innismir I'm interested in joining Ham Twits!
  13. 30 contacts in 13 countries in 2 days of casual operation in MM-land. All but 2 are on 40m. Tomorrow I'm going to try rigging an 80m antenna
  14. QRV on 40m phone from Scotland but I can't understand why I don't hear any British stations. Is my vertical unsuitable? #hamradio
  15. Landed in Scotland, luggage following behind us. The good news is that all my radio gear was in hand luggage. Should be QRV tomorrow!
  16. Got the dreaded "No DDS Signal" on my Palstar antenna analyzer. The trip is off to a great start, LOL.
  17. Planning my trip to Scotland. Looking forward to being QRV as MM/W6OR. I hope that nothing gets broken in transit.
  18. Just worked my first English station. A very nice PSK31 QSO with M5LRO. My signals are finally making their way back to Britain.
  19. My plans for a trip back to Scotland are getting close to final. It will be nice to see family and friends. MM/W6OR....maybe?
