  1. @bullockjm Have you published PowerPivot to SharePoint and then successfully accessed and ! interacted ! with it? I am having some problems.
  2. @russch : Will I get specific error message when I have less than 6GB on VM for SharePoint+PowerPivot? My current issue: http://bit.ly/6zA3Ul
  3. @Kjonge : Do you see anything in the logs as per MSFT suggestion?
  4. @Kjonge To get PowerPivot sheets in gallery - just publish to SharePoint and choose gallery location.
  5. @Kjonge : I can open them too. But as soon as I start to interact with them - change filter, etc, I am getting error message.
  6. @Kjonge By the way, I am still having issues with SharePoint: http://bit.ly/7EWakb. Would love to hear if you have same issue.
  7. @Kjonge : OK, so it did change for you too :-)
  8. @Kjonge Let me know if you will hit any issues installing SharePoint + PowerPivot. Are you installing on single machine everything (DC)?
  9. @dsfnet No problems at all.
  10. Just had a "blue screen of death" on Win 2008R2 server. First time.
  11. @dsfnet ... has to be in synch for SSAS dataabase to work.
  12. @dsfnet : No, I do not believe there is such thing in SSAS. There is tight integration between dimensions and measures and everything ...
  13. @dsfnet Sync is very good option - just make sure you test it. Oh, issues I listed were reported over WAN. Don't know about issues over LAN.
  14. @dsfnet : Also, same person reported that from time to time this fails on Parent/Child dimension synchronization. But most people use it...
  15. @dsfnet : I know that during SQLPASS conf somebody reported that it fails for him from time to time, most likely special case bug.
  16. @dsfnet I know that people are using it and it works. Known issue was with locks - cannot update while somebody is querying.
  17. @powerpivot: Please review #PowerPivot virtual labs posted on your website. I believe there are multiple issues: http://bit.ly/7J8QtZ
  18. @denglishbi ... then I could check. Probably small detail that you are missing. Just like I did ...
  19. @denglishbi - Strange, very strange. Did you try to follow my step by step guide? Or if you would write up every step what you do...
  20. @denglishbi : Did you experience domain account to Local account switch? If no, can you check under which account GeminiBI service runs now?
