  1. Just received a card in the mail from 3D2MP - my only Fijian contact at Rothera :)
  2. Getting read to head to Norbreck Rally (narsa.org.uk/rally/2012-nor…) in Blackpool tomorrow; catch me on the Sands stand!
  3. Spent the day today coding on my logging app to allow more elegant handling of SWL QSL requests… should be able to process cards tomorrow.
  4. Second major batch of Halley cards posted today: that's the backlog completely dealt with except for SWL requests.
  5. Seems I need to add caching for qrz.com lookups to my QSLing program… being very very slow tonight.
  6. First batch of Halley QSL cards now on their way!
  7. Best card so far: A SSAE… with US postage already applied. Genius.
  8. Spending the afternoon ploughing through the Halley QSL backlog.
  9. Halley V and VI QSL cards just arrived from the printers… expect batches to be going out over the next few days.
  10. Halley V and VI QSL cards should be heading my way from the printer today.
  11. Time to start frantic packing… leaving tomorrow for a week's skiing in Austria :)
  12. Planes, planes, planes, trains and automobiles... 46 hours of travel, inc. 4 of sleep, and I'm finally back home from Halley!
  13. On air from Halley 6 for the last time before I fly home; now on 20m SSB looking stateside.
  14. @k4wz I can recognise my own call at almost any speed; its other peoples' that are the problem!
  15. Hint: if someone is 'racing along' at 12wpm, calling them at 25wpm is unlikely to get you in the log.
  16. Taking a break; back on 40m SSB from Halley VI shortly
  17. Last night on air from Halley VI this Saturday; flying back to the UK on Monday.
  18. Visiting Halley 6 for the day today to use the net connection; logs for the past few days uploaded at log.clarkema.org.
  19. @f6ciu I'm still down South, but at Halley station not Rothera.
  20. @Rick_GI Different to Rothera, same as Halley V -- AN-016
