  17. Saturn & Mercury appulse (close approach) only 1/3 deg apart in Thursday's predawn sky. Look east around 6:30am. Binoculars will help.
  18. Mercury visible before dawn, about 10 deg above the eastern horizon at about 6:30am. Very close brush with Saturn coming Thursday morning.
  19. Tonight's full moon is the Harvest Moon, the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox.
