  1. Chasing Lincoln's Killer: Excellent young adult book by author of Manhunt with just right amount of details and photos for young minds. ****
  2. Gate House (Nelson DeMille) Gold Coast sequel & nearly as good. Excellent story, witty, imaginative, suspenseful & enjoyable start to finish
  3. Illegal (Paul Levine) Troubled lawyer helps 12-year old Mexican boy search for missing mother when border crossing goes bad. Gripping story
  4. Just After Sunset (Stephen King) Short story collection. Uneven - with some gems. Thumbs up: Gingerbread Girl, Harvey's Dream, Mute, Ayana.
  5. Outliers: Unusual reasons people succeed, where you were born, time invested in pursuit. Fascinating, thought-provoking, debunks "self-made"
