@ I made it to AGU Toronto this year, but the big fall meeting is way too expensive for me. Maybe the cost is prohibitive?

@ Unfortunately I haven't, but I wouldn't pass up the chance. Try the Volcanism Blog for news - they're really good with updates!

Writing about Galeras. Spent time in Utah this summer instead of visiting Galeras for a volcano conference. *Sigh.* (Utah was still fun...)

@ Ah, the fine art of procrastination. If you time it right, I think it makes for pretty good (and very motivated) work.

Why do I never think that my talks are good enough? Must be everyone's lunch-induced drowsiness making me nervous. One more left today...

Research has totally stalled because I'm trying to keep up with classes. Next semester = no classes, because I've got to get something done.

I've got it! The Disney animators thought Jamestown was on the West coast! That explains all the mountains and waterfalls. ;)

Crap! All the other people in my department are staying with friends for GSA. Do any bloggers want to be my friend and split a room?

Gah. Hate that feeling that you're slacking if you try to enjoy vacation. Guess my life really is turning into a PhD comic.
