  1. @mohamed That is strange. Another American-in-Palestine and I were recentely discussing how Pals tend to put marital status/# kids on CVs.
  2. Had a dream about Zac Hanson last night. WTF? He was in Palestine. That was the only redeeming factor.
  3. @ellenepage um...are you for real? If so, can we talk?
  4. Interesting article about a book I've been hearing about for years, now in English. Interested to read it. http://tinyurl.com/yfvd3ch
  5. Heh...I knew it. Good to hear it all but confirmed. http://www.maannews.net/eng/ViewDetails.aspx?ID=242119
  6. @emilybrook Haha! Yeah, that's a great story. You are right, the apples here are pretty aweful. Have to try to find some Golani ones.
  7. @Hadel We're celebrating in Palestine, but most of the people at the dinner will be American.
  8. @emilybrook Those all sound delicious. Cranberry one sounds best, unfortunately cranberries are hard to come by here. :( Apple bread? yum.
  9. @Hadel :) Thanks! We're having all the traditional stuff, including pumpkin pie.
  10. Researching yummy bread recipes for Thanksgiving. Got any favorites?
  11. @AliDahmash Aw, thanks for the invitation, but unfortunately I'm back in Ramallah now. Maybe next time I'm in Amman.
  12. @DenaShunra Haha, weird. I didn't know that. @bangpound
  13. @DenaShunra @bangpound, thanks for that, I didn't know what you were talking about. In Arabic, it's habash, nothing about India. :)
  14. @mayangrl Actually...they do. Israelis lobbied for the right to be dual citizens, but now its recognized w/many countries.
  15. @DenaShunra I'm actually arguing just that: that the US DOES recognize dual citizenship with other countries.
  16. Heading home for the day. Hoping tomorrow will find a way to be less boring. Otherwise I'll write!
  17. @lekasmiller Aww, that's really sweet of you. Thanks!
  18. RT @mikeage @israelimom in 140 characters, I had to ignore the Hindus //and buddhists, shintos, many africans, wiccans, native americans?
  19. @ActivistArt It is true that Israelis played a special role in getting the US govt to allow/accept dual citizenship, but now universal.
  20. @ActivistArt I know people who are dual citizens of the US and countries other than Israel.
