  1. Next door neighbors have their Christmas lights up already. A bit early this year, but at least the front lawn is nice and illuminated now.
  2. Not trying to be funny, btw. I haven't been able to listen to that song without thinking about the hurricane for the past 4 years.
  3. A Facebook Friend from New Orleans quoted Katrina and The Waves in his status. Thought about pointing it out. Decided not to be a buzzkill
  4. My attempt to get back into running shape has been sidelined by a bad knee... hopefully just temporarily.
  5. One large coffee later, I've gone from bleh to yayayayayayayaya. Some middle ground would have been nice.
  6. RT @dzynr10 "It's depressing when some of your oldest and best friends turn into political "wingnuts"!" I hear ya.
  7. My first RT! I feel so grown up. That was a quote from Neil Armstrong on his return trip from the moon, btw
  8. RT @AP11_SPACECRAFT No matter where you travel, it's always nice to get home.
  9. Message to my 2007 self: Get a Dell with XP, not Vista. Just sayin'.
  10. It's apparently impossible for me to just go into a Barnes and Noble, get what I need, and get out.
  11. On the other hand, I'm not as jittery when only one of the two tea bags has caffeine in it.
  12. My chai/green tea mix isn't as good with the decaf green.
  13. The geek in me gets nostalgic when someone tweets about rolling for initiative.
  14. Just added a few more to my Following list. Homepage isn't as Wil Wheaton-intense as it was.
  15. Wow. Krist Novoselic has certainly aged. Was 1992 really that long ago? http://tinyurl.com/o2wpbu
  16. Starting to wonder if this coffee I got at Dunkin Donuts is decaf like I asked. Feeling a bit too hyper at the moment.
  17. There was a Kleenex box blocking the Start Menu, so I tried pushing it aside with my mouse pointer. Lack of sleep can mess you up.
  18. Was considering "May The Force Be With You" instead of "bye" at the end of phone conversations, but preliminary testing proved unsuccessful.
  19. Emerging from a motivational rut (hopefully.) I blame my current obsession with City of Heroes.
  20. Note to self: Next time the idea to host a party arises, seek help. To get the idea out of your head. Or the missus', as the case may be.
