  1. Two weeks in Beijing coming to an end, going to miss it. Leaving for Xi'an tonight. Updates slow - Facebook and Twitter blocked in China.
  2. Last stop in Europe, the capital of the Union, 3 days to Beijing.
  3. First EU President: Belgian Prime Minister Herman Van Rompuy, first Foreign Minister: UK trade commissioner Catherine Ashton!
  4. EU electing first ever President and Foreign Minister tonight in Brussels...
  5. Great Bruce Lee quote in this Berlin hostel: "Knowing is not enough, we must apply. Willing is not enough, we must do."
  6. In Maastricht, searching for the last EU treaty.
  7. Wondering Amsterdam, funny that nobody remembers where the Treaty of Amsterdam was signed.
  8. Made it to Caen, Normandy last night. Looking forward to the ceremony this morning - thinking about how to get to the D-Day beaches.
  9. In Paris trying to get to Normandy for Nov 11th.
  10. En route to the European Central Bank in Frankfurt- I wonder if they have an ATM I could use.
  11. Had a great time at the EU Parliament. To the new friends that took the time to show me around inside the complex, I am especially grateful.
  12. In Strasbourg, searching for the EU Parliament.
  13. Didn't find the Treaty of Rome at Capitoline Hilll, but I did find something better. Maybe I'll have better luck finding the Treaty of Nice.
  14. Searching for Capitoline Hill - the signing location of the Treaty of Rome.
  15. Thanks for the birthday wishes! The ferry was great - you don't sleep much, but it's cheap, and a great way to see the Mediterranean.
  16. Looks like I'll be turning 27 on a ferry somewhere between Barcelona and Rome - not bad for 38 Euros.
  17. Fixed the camera - sure shutter doesn't work, water in the viewfinder - but she works again. No more facts to find here- off to Barcelona.
  18. Alright, MacBook up and running. Only one soaked camera away from full speed. The mission log is finally up too.
  19. This gets better, my MacBook has stopped functioning for reasons unknown to me. Until I can sort it out I won´t be able to update the site.
  20. Anybody know of a good camera repair shop in Madrid? I think the Atlantic Ocean took a bite out of my camera.
