  1. @mediatemple It's better now - my IP address got locked out for too many unsuccessful login attempts. Odd, as the login info was all good.
  2. Can't access any mediatemple gridservers by FTP. Has been down for 10 minutes.
  3. Take a look at thief Chandra Rathnakrishnan showing off his stolen CrunchPad - http://bit.ly/6Fjh6G - retardedly renamed "JooJoo." Asshat.
  4. Just switched to Google's Public DNS - seems faster. Hopefully will fix routing issues to mediatemple servers. http://bit.ly/7JDNpl
  5. @ceege111 If you stay, you get another few hundred troops killed before eventually being forced to withdraw.
  6. Watched a short scene from Avatar online - seemed really stilted, badly written and acted. Which was surprising.
  7. Meant to take the day off but wound up working nonstop instead. Blah. On the plus side - finished another site. Joomla one this time.
  8. Wondering if our species will go extinct because the bulk of the population's too ignorant & malinformed to recognize global warming is real
  9. Billy Joel's daughter was worried she might have overdosed on Traumeel, a homeopathic "medication" - umm... not much to worry about there...
  10. @jceeditor I feel your pain.
  11. 'cos salon.com's one of my top ten online destinations & I'm on there every day; I'd hate to see it vanish.
  12. Like if salon.com had a graphic somewhere showing how far in the red/black they were - if in the red, I'd want to pitch in.
  13. I for one would be very motivated to become a paying salon.com subscriber if their financials were transparent & available on the site.
  14. I didn't know salon.com had been $80 million in debt in 2003 and is still having financial issues.
  15. Interesting pbs.org interview with salon.com CEO Richard Gingras about their redesign and future plans - http://bit.ly/12uKyz
  16. @barbarakrause No, didn't notice it. I don't associate shopping with Salon. Seems incongruous.
  17. @ceege111 The alternative? Don't go there. Withdraw. Acknowledge it was a mistake. (Good video btw. Super info-dense.)
  18. Just wrapped up a new wordpress site for a client. They're doing their DNS switch now. Customized the hell out of a studiopress theme base.
  19. I really like salon.com's new look. Except for their logo being sliced off at the knees. Otherwise it's great.
  20. @wesbos How much did the hardware cost?
