  10. Sprint is outsourcing network to Ericsson, it this a trend with the cost cutting world we are in or a special case for Sprint

  12. Straight Talk from Tracfone, $45 a month unlimited voice, text and 30 MB of data, looks like strong comp for Leap, Boost and Metro PCS
  13. Back to Metro PCS, much more pressure on the prepaid market, competition appears to be good for the customer.
  14. Metro PCS offers unlimited international calling for $5 a month, to 100 countries. Big move to attract the minority market
  15. Qualcomm releases Plaza Retail, essentially an applications store that carriers can outsource, will support all but Apple, interesting.
  16. The new Kindle DX, more evidence that the written word is moving to digital, net net good for papers gives them more distribution points
  17. Verizon going with the no roaming plan in Mexico, could be a trend, a way for larger players to provide value and hold on to customers.
  18. AT&T had a good quarter considering but cons. and bus spending had some impact on wireless almost flat data ARPU and lower MOUs
  19. TMobile introduced its Laptop Card and Access, I was surprised at the $60 price, they usually go lower than the competition. Unlimited ...
  20. That with a strong andriod offering is going to make the entire wireless market very interesting
