  17. The 9YO gashed his leg on a pedal yesterday -- 17 stitches on inside of right calf. Weird thing: he was walking the bike -- not even riding.
  18. GREAT DAY for a ride. Took the bike trailer and the 3-year-old, delivered a sports coat to the cleaners for pressing & went to the bank.
  19. My son said the barends were too slick, so I wrapped them with old innertubes cut into strips. Verdict: "Perfect!"
  20. I put new shifter cables & barends on my 9-year-old son's Bridgestone MTB today. His reaction: "Dad, it's like I have a new bike!"
