  7. Knocked out my first Pikes Peak Ascent on Saturday. Great experience. Lots of hard work, but I don't regret it. Finished in 4:17.
  8. 15 days to my first Pikes Peak Ascent. Long run/power hike tonight. Work it out above treeline on Sun. Finally getting in shape.
  9. Word at Gazette: Chance for baseball-size hail in southern Colorado Springs later. Everyone grab a baseball glove.
  10. Back to work. It feels pretty good. And I feel fortunate to say it.
  11. Lance is riding to win.
  12. Finished second leg of Triple Crown of Running. Now it's time to focus on the Pikes Peak Ascent.

  15. @awriterafoot Pretty snowy spring, eh? Still snow up high on the peak w/a few patches in the trees. Mostly green. Wildflowers were crazy.

  17. Pretty much set for big hike/run up Barr Trail to treeline tomorrow. Now, come to me sweet sleep.
  18. It's Father's Day and I am the luckiest man on earth. Just had to say that. Peace to all.
  19. After enduring variety of running injuries since Jan., body is feeling better. 18-pain free miles completed this week. 10-mile race June 14.
  20. Looking forward to citizen journalism workshop in Denver tomorrow.
