  1. @chasewhale I've gone through that same exchange, maybe a dozen times. Sigh. I'll graduate when I graduate, thanks.
  2. Miracle Max says hi. Oh, and hold the bacon.
  3. Off in search of my brain. Why do I feel this is a bit like trying to find the world's most valuable object by looking in a 7-Eleven?
  4. @smgrimes That's kind of revolting, really. But maybe that's just because my boy instinct is to blow all those fairies up with fireworks.
  5. And every time, every single time, I watch THE 400 BLOWS, I notice something new. That Francois Truffaut seriously rocked the kasbah.
  6. The watching-of-THE 400 BLOWS: a glorious success. The sleeping-in-the-backyard plan: not so much. I realized I'm scared of the outdoors.
  7. @jpidgeon Nerdy, sure, but I love it! I just 'spect most people have Star Wars or something more in mind when they think of movie marathons.
  8. And just so there's no confusion, no, not THAT kind of French naturalist thing. Sheesh.
  9. Thinking about watching THE 400 BLOWS and then sleeping outside tonight. Yeah, I'm really going for that whole French naturalist thing.
  10. @jpidgeon This is true, the series would be great marathon material! Albeit nerd marathon material, but still pretty great.
  11. Best line ever in the edited-for-TV version of LETHAL WEAPON 2: "You son of a snitch!"
  12. @davidanaxagoras The scene with Brody and his son at the table... Just about the most magical scene on film.
  13. @mediamacaroni Ah, excellent. One of the first obligatory responsibilties of being a parent.
  14. @jpidgeon I really have to say I think "Seven Up" is my favorite. Young, whipsmart kids + video ethnographies = just a winning combo.
  15. @jpidgeon I raided the library's DVD set. :) I've managed to see the last couple on TV over the years, but have never seen the first few!
  16. @mediamacaroni Oh my. Hope you don't have company coming for dinner.
  17. @AnnaofWisconsin With Auntie Muriel too, ugh. Glad to do without her!
  18. Took a bit of a break from writing to watch "Seven Up!". Now am talking about my life to a fictional interviewer in a fake British accent.
  19. @twincident The iPhone 3G or 3Gs is gonna require $30/mo for the data plan instead of $20, and I hear some people didn't get texts with it.
  20. @twincident Well, I pay $39.95/mo for 450 minutes (5000 night&weekend), plus $20 for unlimited iPhone data+200 texts. But I have a 1st gen.
