  1. @clotildenet Made your celeriac rémoulade for a dinner party last night. It was a HUGE hit.
  2. Just mixed a giant dollop of the dulce de leche I bought in Buenos Aires into some Greek yogurt and damn it was good.

  5. The lamb at the Racquet and Tennis Club is surprisingly good. Tender, not overdone. Not so crazy about the neon green mint jelly, though
  6. Pretzel roll sandwich with pork loin and cheese at Pedlar Cafe on Clinton really tasty and surprisingly filling for a sandwich.
  7. Surprisingly good dinner last night@Mayahuel. Perfectly cooked steak with chimichurri, tuna tartar w/avocado & coconut & yummy croquetas
  8. Most adorable sight @ Union Sq Farmer's Market today:dog eating concord grapes from a crate under a table while his oblivious owner shopped
  9. Very long conversation last night about why I could never date a vegetarian. I stand by calling it a "fundamental difference in values"
  10. Lunch with my DP yesterday @ Market Table on Carmine. Had crispy chicken cutlet. Very generous portions. Nice textures, Provencal flavors.
  11. Think the froyo craze in NYC is overblown, but glad something toppled the heinous TastiDLite, at least on 2nd ave btw 9th & 10th
  12. I just ate four White Castle jalepeno cheeseburgers with bacon plus most of a box of fried clam strips. When did I lose all self-control?
  13. Is it me or is there a chestnut glut this year? Noticed lower prices and larger quantities. It's a chestnut embarrassment of riches.
