Organizing patterns today by knits vs. wovens, then by separates,tops, dresses, pants, jackets, etc. Makes pattern retrieval SO much easier.

Be patient when learning to sew. Give yourself time to learn the new language of home sewing. The results are worth it.

Tip:Use quilting pins or long glass head pins to help pierce through fabric. I prefer these over the standard 1" pin for every application.

Tip: Serge or zig zag the raw edges of your fabric first to help reduce the bundled mess in the washer and dryer. Minimizes lint, too.
