  1. @ShawnKing "I regret to announce with tremendous posturing that I am leaving the Mac for no discernable reason! Unrelated: I work in PR."
  2. @ShawnKing Arrgh, stop coming up with all these great links! The Macalope is off this week!
  3. @GlennF Ach du lieber! The Macalope's words don't like to be split up like that!
  4. @flargh Sadly, Rob is all out of quarters.
  5. @GlennF CORRECTION: Rob Enderle is the Last Inquiry Unicorn. http://bit.ly/OFiKz
  6. @johnbaxter But to simply provide no automatic option for something as key as email? Makes no sense.
  7. Apparently Windows Live Mail is a free download and restores your mail from Vista Mail. Why on Earth would they not just include it?
  8. Was everyone but the Macalope aware that Windows 7 doesn't come with an email client? http://bit.ly/4AC2Hl Seriously, Microsoft? SERIOUSLY?!
  9. FYI - the Macalope's site has been moved to WordPress.com, so hopefully the malware problems will be behind us.
  10. Thank you, @dmoren! And the Macalope never retweets at home...
  11. Love the Macalope? @dmoren painstakingly tagged every column so you can see all of him in one place http://j.mp/gTIMd (via @danfrakes)
  12. Hey, Twitter! Whatchoo got against Camino? Why does the brown and furry one always have to see a Firefox upgrade message?
  13. @GlennF Did you watch the video the Macalope linked to? The one with Klingon pain sticks? That was a Windows 7 launch party.
  14. BREAKING: LOTUS NOTES APPARENTLY STILL EXISTS. MORE ON THIS STORY AS IT DEVELOPS.
  15. The Macalope just noticed "this is how we do" was changed to "this is how we roll" in this week's piece. Get out of the early aughts, Dan!
  16. @photine Indeed - takes some of the sting out of it!
  17. @GlennF It's almost as if you're talking about some sort of web... OS...
  18. @jsnell You kids and your wifi. It'll come to no good! NO GOOD!
  19. @jsnell Fine. Be that way. Just seems that if everything other than video synced over wifi, most would have little need to ever connect.
  20. @jsnell The problem with wifi for small updates is that people will have fewer backups and will install security updates less frequently.
