  1. @2palaver Yes, the wait was trying - but the pizza was fantastic... just wondering about the "best in the nation" business...
  2. @RichardPF @dalecruse "pizza in a bag" is either a terrible idea or will make me a millionaire!
  3. @RichardPF Always wanted to as an hors d'oeuvre, but it would be too messy. Wouldn't work as a course either - "I'm paying $$$ for pizza?!"
  4. Went to Pepe's Pizza in New Haven - excellent pizza - but the best in the country? I dunno... http://www.pepespizzeria.com
  5. Check out the latest video highlighting our Chef's Table event: http://bit.ly/6ximSI
  6. Got "Japanese Hot Pots" cookbook, signed by the Matsuri chef, from my brother-in-law, where he works: http://matsurinyc.com
  7. @RichardPF @dalecruse I've already been convinced to cook bison... is yak my next challenge...? (oh boy)
  8. New "Chef's Table" photo album on Facebook - http://bit.ly/4qPGwW
  9. mmm... confit pork belly... only gets better with age (the foie gras that goes with it doesn't hurt either)
  10. @Derek7877 Yes - I've already profited from @RichardPF's sake knowledge! Lucky for me, I work with a great sommelier...
  11. Big thanks to @RichardPF for the "Favorite Dining Experience" of 2009!!! (scroll all the way down) - http://bit.ly/8BK5n0
  12. @Derek7877 Yes, I absolutely love it. I'm a bit new to the sake world, but learning (aka: drinking) as much as possible!
  13. Cool! RT @Derek7877 Neat little video showing how Sake is made>> http://tinyurl.com/yfna5gc
  14. Took a trip throughout Spain with our wines at last night's Chef's Table - but the food was still international - French, Italian, Japanese.
  15. How am I supposed to know if my squid ink coulis is burnt? OK - taste and smell - but this stuff is as black as can be.
  16. @globalgourmand At first I thought, "we're not baking any muffins here..." Then after 5-6 times, I realized who he was talking to!
  17. I sous vide some things for so long that sometimes I forget what day I'm on... has it been 48 or 72 hours...?
  18. RT @FrenchChefWife: Who knew I loved Korean doughnuts?? First experience last night and again for breakfast - thanks @yutjangsah
  19. @smellslikegrape Yeah - I didn't believe my thermometer this morning - but the frozen tears on the side of my face told me it was real!
  20. @LilMissSocMedia Yeah it's so good, like a savory marzipan with a nice acidic kick on the finish - makes me want to taste it all over again!
