  1. @tangenghui Thank you. Yes it is! It's off Pulau Ubin, within sight.
  2. An afternoon at the kelong: http://is.gd/4RRKf
  3. @ennn :D I heart WriteRoom, though I've been swayed by Scrivener. Check it out: http://www.literatureandlat...
  4. WhatsApp has been updated. If you're not already using WhatsApp, you should! It's the best iPhone chat app for your address book.
  5. First & 20: A collection of iPhone home screens of influential developers, designers, and tech writers. http://ping.fm/bjvQj
  6. @lucian Btw, we have the same setups. :)
  7. @lucian Hmm, probably not so good a lens for you too. I was just hoping if I could save some money over the EF 14mm f/2 L.
  8. @lucian Corner sharpeness on a full-frame body seems to be the issue with this lens. What body are you using?
  9. @lucian Sigma 14mm f/2.8 seems to get good reviews. I'm gonna take a chance with this lens. If I don't like it, would you like to buy over?
  10. @lucian Then I think you'll love the lens. :) Of course, the best is to have both the 14 and the 17, which is what I ended up having to do.
  11. @lucian If it's for weddings, the TS-E could be a tad unwieldy, given you'd need to tweak for shift effects. For 14mm, don't get the Mk I.
  12. Saw an entire 15-min segment on ChannelNewsAsia that had its field order wrong. How the heck did that pass QC?!?
  13. Great. Screwed by QuickTime's RGB to YUV nonsense.
  14. Reply from tech support: "Have you posted any blog entries on your WP site? This is what our import copies over, blog posts." Duh.
  15. And here are some replacement iPhoto icons for Nikon D40, Sony Alpha 350, and Canon EOS 40D: http://ping.fm/U6oXI
  16. EOS 5D Mark II shooters, here's a nice icon set for you: http://ping.fm/Z0Sw3
  17. The EF 14mm f/2 L (Mark I) flares more easily than the nostrils of a deranged Spanish flighting bull.
  18. @lucian Good! Controls flare well, pretty sharp wide open (though not as sharp as 17-40 or 16-35). But quite a bitch to focus.
  19. @smudgi3 I say well-being.
  20. @lennel Doesn't the E-P1 already come with an optical viewfinder?
