  1. Anyone here happen to have Bill Gates private email address? The one where you don't get filtered by the secretary?
  2. I recommend Summize as my worthy successor and twoorl (http://twoorl.com/) instead of twitter: open source and scalable!
  3. So terraminds search is officially discontinued now. So long and thanks for all the fish...
  4. And for everyone else: migration to EC2 is now successful, so hopefully the search should run there peacefully for a while
  5. @steverubel: welcome to my town! If you need infos or a guide let me know...
  6. But I am currently porting it to AWS EC2 and it will hopefully run peacefully there
  7. This outage was embarrassing, sorry for the trouble. This project is now strictly a hobby, so don't expect much new development
  8. Ok, we've been down for a while, but I am working on it - currently from a hostel room in Everett, MA. Hope to be up again soon!
  9. Sorry about terraminds outage since yesterday - am working on fix, but being away from home does not make things easier...
  10. @webmetricsguru: thanks for the tip, I've made arrangements by now, but I'll see you there...
  11. @colbuzz you can use &count=n for n between 1 and 100
  12. Anyone else here going to BarcampNYC3? Or can you recommend a cheap hotel in New York that has ok access to public transit?
  13. Terraminds in now using YCombinator startup tipjoy.com to receive tips - let me know if it causes trouble
  14. Oops, thanks to @dsifry for pointing out the bad url: http://terraminds.com/lauxr...
  15. The terraminds developer is looking for work/gigs: check out my resume if you need a search engine developer or similar: http://terramin ...
  16. @DaveDev ok, so it depends on the browser actually: Firefox escapes form submissions automatically, IE doesn't. I might be able to do smthg.
  17. @NBandaru: thanks for the report, bug is now fixed
  18. @thatchman1: thanks for the suggestion, I'll put it onto the todo list
  19. @DaveDev: I believe that is already done...? The url with a literal @ in it must have been built by some other tool...
  20. I'll join in wishing everyone a happy year 2008: http://tinyurl.com/2fvwnm http://tinyurl.com/yurrmz ... try out your language!
