  15. The Brits eased to the first set of their dubs semi, but Frederic Cattaneo (FRA)/ Joachim Gerard (BEL) came back to win 1-6, 6-0, (10-7).
  16. Saida ended hopes of an all-British semi when he beat Marc McCarroll 2-6, 6-3, 6-3. McCarroll & Reid’s doubles bid also ended in the semis.
