  1. Starting Monday, November 9 our general meetings will start an hour earlier at 7:00PM in the same building (Durham 171).
  2. Team PrISUm and Sol Invictus will be tailgating for the Homecoming football game this Saturday from 1pm to 4pm at the Alumni Center.
  3. Team PrISUm and Sol Invictus will be at the City of Ames Power Plant Open House on Saturday October 10th from 9am to 1pm. See you there.
  4. Mold construction for P10 has started. Join us for our mech meetings on Tuesdays at 7:00 at the garage in Sweeney Hall to get in on the fun.
  5. We will be having another informational general meeting for new and potential members today, Monday, at 8pm in 171 Durham.
  6. Join us Sunday in Norway, IA at Frontier Natural Products COOP for the I-RENEW Energy & Sustainabilty Expo from 10:30am to 5pm.
  7. Join us and Sol Invictus in Mason City, IA this Saturday for Bio-Fest(next to Menard's at Spatial Designs) from 9am to 4pm.
  8. We will be showing off Sol Invictus at the All American Car Show in Ames on Kellogg and Main St. on Saturday from 8am to 4pm. Stop by.

  11. Our website has moved! We are now at http://solarcar.stuorg.iast... There is now a link on prisum.org that you can use also.
  12. Rayced for 3 hours Thursday and 10 hours Friday to complete 204 laps good enough for 7th place out of 10.
  13. BPS is fixed and we are raycing!!!
  14. Waiting on new parts for the BPS, still have yet to get on the track. Hopefully we will today.
  15. Unfortunately, since we let the smoke out of the BPS we have yet to take the car onto the track. We are continuing to work on it.
  16. Our battery protection has run into some major glitches which has destroyed one of the circuit boards. We are trying to find a solution.
  17. Passed all scrutineering yesterday without much trouble. We were to start 6th based on the order of finishing scrutineering.
  18. Ran into some unexpected glitches with battery protection, but a few minutes with a soldering iron shows promising results.
  19. In Texas putting the finishing touches on the car. We will go through scrutineering tomorrow.
  20. Sol Invictus and crew are on the road, heading to Cresson, TX for FSGP09. 800 miles to go...
