  1. thx to Andrew Trice for his BigImage http://bit.ly/1KaFpl and this UnlimitedImagetiling solution: http://bit.ly/2iEkh5. Mine is a combo
  2. finally got a good prototype of 8Kx8k px and beyond image loading and stitching working in Flex. Time to get some sleep
  3. @andyscheller Pavan Podila came up with the orig. called ElementFlow. Here is the best link I could find: http://blog.pixelingene.com...
  4. @andyscheller funny story about that one. Ben and co. created OpenFlux with away3D and light AS to replicate a WPF slideshow demo
  5. I've gone through so much pain lately because of the imposed FP bitmapdata limits and hacks to stitch pixels it's no longer funny or fun
  6. @andyscheller it could be because I've been fighting FP bitmapdata limits for a few night, or just maybe @Adobe really needs to catch up
  7. @andyscheller same here, but every time I check on MS latest .net framework updates, tooling, cloud services & silverlight, I am impressed
  8. @andyscheller and I am not event bringing up WCF, WPF, LINQ and other C# and .Net goodies that any dev can only sallivate over
  9. @andyscheller VS 2010 and Blend Studio are the best dev and design tools hands down. Adobe are years behind MS on tooling front
  10. @andyscheller check out "Dallas" proj. MS is the Sun and Apple of modern day. Really the only place I see some innovation coming from lately
  11. @andyscheller same here. I am keeping my .net skils current and branching into some light 3D design and dev with real 3D engines like Unity
  12. I suggest @Adobe delivers before it makes any big announcements next time, confusing people, and keeping us waiting for things to come
  13. @andyscheller for example, I got a Droid. Would love to see how my apps run on it. Looks like I'd have to wait a few more months to try it
  14. @andyscheller what a surprise. As a Flex dev, I getting really disgusted with all the Flash promos and Adobe MAX promises and no show lately
  15. @sophistifunk yep. I can move and max. to snap on the display I wish. What I want is VS 2010 like multi-monitor support: http://bit.ly/oz8Qx
  16. @sophistifunk yeah. that's easy. you can span a window on monitors in Win without a prob. is that what you mean? Still not quite what I want
  17. 24'' portrait is awesome. I wonder why I've not used it much before. I can see all my proj. files with plenty of room for split code wins
  18. @sophistifunk it must be me then. If anyone is using FB or Eclipse and has a tip on multi-monitor IDE setup, feel free to chime in
  19. @sophistifunk lucky you. I've tried that, but all I get is a drag window outline with no drop zone on the second monitor.
  20. @sophistifunk running hulu, IMs and media players at the top. Works great so far. Give it a shot if you sport a couple of 2X+'' monitors
